Please, I would like to make arrangements to make payments

Dear Lauren Musser,

Hello! Thank you very much for your recent letter dated 12/14/11 about the balance of taxes due, plus penalties and interest for Some Choices Are Evil - There is the Way, Inc. As stated in the past, I would like to make arrangements to the State of New Jersey to pay off the taxes due, plus penalties and interest. Since my net income varies, especially in the months of July and August, and also who knows if I'll still have the two jobs (one full time, and the other part time) in the near and immediate future (only the good Lord knows at this point), I'd like to make monthly payments. I don't know if you require a constant minimum monthly payment, or if you require a different specific payment system, but if it is a fairly flexible payment system, then I would like to make a monthly payment of some sort, plus be able to make a larger payment when my net income is larger, the Lord willing, or when or if I get an income tax refund (1040 or NJ1040), or if I ever win any of the sweepstakes that come through the mail. Right now i don't want to specify an amount, but will when you are kind of enough to let me know if this kind of flexible plan is acceptable. Also, I don't want to spend the next seven years paying it off, the Lord willing, but don't see myself paying it off in less than 17 - 18 months, barring a miracle (I'm thinking that it will be closer to two years than seven years, the Lord willing, but am not 100% sure). I've spent the last 16 - 16 1/2 years in relative poverty, and don't have any assets of much worth at the moment (the good Lord provided me with a used 1993 Honda Civic years ago, which now has over 171,000 miles on it). I am not sure what you meant by an abatement of penalties (I will go to dictionary.com to find out). Please let me know if this letter is sufficient to count as a written request for an abatement of penalties as written although I don't know what would be required of me right now (right now I don't have much money and i don't see myself selling the used car at this point, so I'm not in a position to make a big check out to the State of New Jersey).

I did receive in the mail today also copies of Notice of Termination of Corporate Existence from the Virginia State Corporate Commission for two of the three corporations that i thought that i had formed while in Virginia (1996/1997): for both Some Choices Are Evil - There is the Way, Inc. and NOVA Christians For Life, Inc. I had requested Certificates of Dissolution, or had tried to get information on how to get the Certificates of Dissolution, for the three corporations that I believed I'd formed while in Virginia (at the same time). I don't know if this information is sufficient for the State of New Jersey, but does help me a lot (because now I know that I will not have to continue to have to pay taxes, or file forms, with the Commonwealth of Virginia regarding these inactive corporations - whether I owe any back taxes, fees, or penalties is something I want my lawyer and/or accountant to tell me - the sooner the better).
