Take the .6 percent (that's six-tenths of one percent) challenge

Editor, The New Jersey Herald,

I hope that those who read this will help those in need this Christmas time, over and above what you might have already done. There are billions of people living in poverty throughout the world today! There are millions living in poverty here in the United States. There are people living right here in Sussex County that are poor! I ask that you give a gift of at least .6 % (that's six-tenths of one percent) of your total net worth to an organization, or group (or directly to those in need) that help those in need before Christmas this year. Please, take the .6 percent challenge. For example, if you have a net worth of $10,000, then please give at least a gift of $60. If you have $320,000, then please give at least $1,920. If you are, say a governor of New Jersey, then please give at least $144,000. If you are a Senator from Massachusetts, then please give at least $1.45 million. If you are a software billionaire, then please give at least $245 million. If you're like me, then give at least $36. Let's do what we can to help those in need before Christmas!

Thank you very much for any and all help! Hope that you and the loved ones have a joyous and peaceful day. May the good Lord bless you and the loved ones with love, joy, peace, and patience!

Sincerely,

Ken Miller
