Let us try to alleviate poverty

Vice President Joseph Biden

Wash., D.C. 20500

Dear Vice President Joseph Biden,

Greetings on this glorious day the Lord has made! I hope that you and the loved ones are in good health and are getting along! How is your spirit on this glorious day? I am writing to you to ask for your help. One major concern and/or problem facing millions of Americans today is poverty. Many (too many for sure) people go to bed hungry, and there are too many who don't have enough to get enough food to feed themselves and/or their family. Poverty affects millions, and is a daily concern/problem. Health care may affect many, but it is not a daily concern/problem. As someone who has lived out on the streets, and at times gone without food (and at times didn't have enough money to have three meals a day) I can relate to those in poverty (I'm certainly not rich now). Our government should be more concerned, and doing more to try and alleviate poverty than dealing with health care reform.

Now is the time to start concentrating more effort and more time discussing ways the government can help alleviate poverty in the United States, and in the world today. I ask you to help start both a dialog and to act to alleviate poverty in the United States and the world today. Some rich people and politicians seem to act as if poverty is not a problem, or they completely refuse to address the problem. I urge you speak out today, and to act to alleviate poverty today.

Thank you for your help! There are people dying in the United States due to being poor. Your help would be appreciated. Hope you and the loved ones have a joyous and peaceful day! May the good Lord bless you and the loved ones with love, joy, peace, and patience.

Sincerely,

Ken Miller
