In California, we are litigating the case of Planned Parenthood v. Center for Medical Progress (CMP). Planned Parenthood is seeking millions in damages after the CMP videos exposed the abortion giant’s trade in baby body parts. We recently filed a motion for summary judgment to dismiss the racketeering (RICO) and fraud claims that are at the heart of the lawsuit. In Alabama, we are demanding an immediate, comprehensive investigation into three of the state’s five remaining abortion facilities, including the state’s two Planned Parenthood clinics. We believe we can show sufficient evidence of violations to shut the facilities down permanently. In Jackson, Mississippi we successfully stopped police from illegally threatening and harassing pro-lifers outside the state's last remaining abortion facility. In Florida, we filed a lawsuit on behalf of two employees who were singled out and fired because of their pro-life views. We also represent numerous Red Rose Rescuers in the Capitol region who were arrested after they entered abortion facilities to offer women prayer and information about abortion alternatives. We recently filed several pro-life amicus briefs, including one filed with the U.S. Supreme Court urging the Court to uphold an Indiana statute requiring the humane and dignified disposal of aborted babies. In another Florida case, we are helping a student whose life-affirming signs were destroyed by a pro-abort on a university campus.
