Looking back on this year, and to 2020 and the future Bobby Schindler Tue, Dec 31, 2019, 10:00 AM (4 days ago) to me Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network Dear friends, In 2019, the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network surpassed service to more than 3,000 patients and families through our National Crisis Lifeline - a new milestone in our organization's history. We work literally every day to achieve life-saving results for these patients and their families. Unfortunately, so many who reach out to us for life-saving assistance are not seen in terms of their dignity by their healthcare providers, even though their health care providers should be the ones to support them in their time of vulnerability. As we head toward a new year we can be certain that the confusion regarding "human dignity" is likely to remain a reality in today’s health care. So, what can we do? We can continue to serve those who are in a time of crisis and need immediate help. Each vulnerable patient and family who contacts our National Crisis Lifeline will need help that the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network is willing to provide.
