still one of the working poor

Dear Editors, The Wall Street Journal,

Greetings! I hope that you and the loved ones are in good health. How is your spirit on this glorious day? I would like to submit an article to the The Star Ledger for publication from a working poor person's perspective. Please review some of the blog postings that I have posted on ablogbyken@blogger.com (ablogbyken@blogspot.com). Years ago I lived out on the streets, and many years ago while in elementary school I lost the ability to talk, and was labeled autistic (only the good Lord knows for sure as to what really happened). I have been unemployed in the past, had a condo. foreclosed on me, was sued by companies when I couldn't pay off massive credit card debts.

After about 43 years of starting out to work (albeit not always full time, and not always above the minimum wage, and not always being gainfully employed) I believe, from what I'm being told, that I will still owe the government thousands of dollars more than what I have. If I'm able to make arrangements with the government to pay off what I owe, then after I pay off the government, the Lord willing, I can start saving up for retirement (for full disclosure: D.O.B. 3/23/56). That is why I've asked some leaders, and the Supreme Court, what the Constitution means by "excessive fines shall not be imposed" contained within the Eighth Amendment. FYI: I am presently blessed with two, or three, or four, or five jobs (depending on how you look at it)- one full-time, and one part-time, one that I do maybe two or three times a year, one is work for no pay, but I do not make a lot of money (definitely a lot less than what a U.S. Senator, or a Vice President, or a lawyer, or an assistant in a law firm, or a newspaper editor makes).

Please let me know if you are interested as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your consideration. Hope that you and the loved ones have a joyous and peaceful day. May the good Lord, our Creator Lord, bless you and the loved ones with love, joy, peace, and patience!

Sincerely,

Ken Miller
