Out of poverty? - Hope that you have a blessed new year!

Happy New Year - Jesus the same yesterday, today, and forever!

Dear family, and friends,

Greetings on this glorious day that the Lord has made! How is your spirit on this glorious day? Please remember that we humans are more than flesh and blood. Also, please remember that we are created by our Creator Lord in His image, with inalienable rights! For the last 15 - 16 years I have been dealing with poverty first hand. Most of the 15 - 16 years I had been in poverty, and I suppose some would say that I was in relative poverty for all those 15 - 16 years. Some people may have gotten out of poverty faster than 15 - 16 years, but some (if not a lot of) people think that it should take only a short period of time. It doesn't always work that way! Whether I die poor, or with some money, only the good Lord, our Creator Lord, knows at this point. Also true is, no one can take any money with them when they die, and go into the next world! Let's just say that I haven't been trying to stay destitute for the last 15 -16 years!

The good Lord, our Creator Lord, has provided comfort and peace. I am content, and am thankful to our loving, gracious Father. I can testify that our Creator Lord is wonderful, faithful, gracious, loving, holy and just! Our Heavenly Father loves us so much that He sent His only beloved Son into this world to die for us sinners, so that we might have eternal life! I can testify that Jesus is the Lamb of God, the Light of the World, the Bread of Life. I can testify that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever! I can testify that Jesus is Lord!

Please help the poor, and the working poor today! Please pray for our leaders so that they may help the poor, and the working poor today. Write letters to our leaders and urge them to help the poor, and the working poor today!

I call on the rich to help the poor, and the working poor today. I call on the middle class to help the needy today! There is too much poverty in the United States, and the world, today.

Thank you very much for all your help. Hope that you and the loved ones have a joyous and peaceful day. May the good Lord, our Creator Lord, bless you and the loved ones with blessings upon blessings!

Sincerely,

Ken Miller

still one of the working poor - if only in spirit *

P.S. If President Barack Obama delivers on a campaign pledge to give us non-wealthy individuals a tax cut of $1,100, then I might be able to help the poor, and the working poor today!

P.P.S. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Jesus is the Holy One of Israel! Jesus is Lord!

* the retirement savings account dropped below $495 - when is one no longer poor?

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us sinners that whosoever should believe in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
