Let's pray for Gustave and Maurice, and the others in Haiti

Greetings! I hope that you and the loved ones are in good health and are getting along. Good health is such a blessing from the good Lord! How is your spirit on this glorious day? I hope that you will pray for two friends living in Haiti, Gustave and Maurice, as well as for the others in Haiti at this time. My friend Maurice lost his humble home when the earthquake hit Haiti in January, but was uninjured (praise and thanks to our Lord). My friend Gustave was less affected by the earthquake (praise and thanks to our good Lord). Please pray for them and others that were affected, pray for the relief workers, the leaders of Haiti, and the others trying to help out in the relief efforts. Please also consider giving a gift to help out even if you have already made a gift to help.

Greetings! I hope that you and the loved ones are in good health and are getting along. Good health is such a blessing from the good Lord! How is your spirit on this glorious day that the Lord has made? Let's not forget about the poor and the working poor! The good Lord hears the cries of the poor day by day, and moment by moment. What should we do to help those that are need - ration health care? Should we say that abortion is health care as some have already done? God forbid! Should we allow the government to pay for abortions? God forbid! Should we spend more time with the poor and the working poor to find out what they really need, and then see that they are provided for? Some of the working poor and poor can not afford to go to the doctor, or the hospital, or to specialists, or any other health facility, let alone get medicine that might be recommended by a doctor.

Please pray for our leaders - our Lord cares for them and us! Please pray that our good Lord will grant them much wisdom to help the poor and the working poor today! Some of us working poor could use the help! Please pray that our good Lord will grant our leaders the courage and wisdom to correct all the problems with the multiple thousand page health care law supported by President Barack Obama.

How is your spirit on this glorious day? I am grateful for each new day (and the tender mercies) that the good Lord gives us. I am content - even though I am still one of the working poor! The last eleven months have not been the best for me, but I still praise the Holy One of Israel, the Lamb of God! The good Lord is good! He is good all the time!

Life is a gift of the Lord! God's way is life, and God's will is life! Life is precious - and is from the Creator God. Please help protect and support life. Please help end the destruction of life. Abortion is the destruction of life - life given as a gift of the Lord. God's Holy Word tells us much about how life was created by our Creator God, and about the value of life, and how we should take a strong stand for life. God's Holy Word is pure, powerful, perfect, and profitable to us for teaching, learning, and for doctrine.

There are some people that say that abortion is health care. Abortion is not health care! Also, rationing health care will not protect life. Rationing health care will not support life. Please let our leaders know that the government should not be allowed to pay for abortions. Please let our leaders know that rationing health care is not what the government should be involved in. Please let our leaders know that they should take a strong stand for life!

How about a net asset tax on the very rich?

Should there be a net asset tax on the very rich?

How about a net asset tax on the very rich (I am one of the working poor)?

With the net asset tax, there could be a standard deduction, a deduction for a spouse, and deductions for children under the age of 19 living at home.

To make this tax a somewhat temporary tax the deductions could automatically increase by 33 % (or 50 %, or 100 %) each year.

The very ultra rich could be taxed at a greater rate than the very rich.

What should the money raised by this tax be used for? Help pay off the national debt? Help the poor, or the working poor? Do something for the needy? Shouldn't that be for our leaders to decide?

Please pray for our leaders (and the leaders of the world)! Please pray that the good Lord will grant them much wisdom to govern justly.

Our Lord is not a Democrat! Our good Lord is not a Republican!

Who cares for the poor?

Greetings! I hope that you and the loved ones are in good health. Good health is such a blessing from the good Lord. How is your spirit on this glorious day that the Lord has made? Who cares for the poor? There is no greater advocate for the poor than our Lord and Savior! Blessed are the poor for theirs is the kingdom of God. There is no one who cares for the poor better than our Lord! Who hears when the poor cry out? Our Lord hears the cries of the poor. Whenever we give to one of the poor, we are giving to our dear Lord! We love, because He first loved us.

Please help the poor today. There are millions of poor people in the United States alone. Poverty is something that affects too many people, and is a day in and day out situation. Some people are not getting enough to eat. Some people are living out in the streets. Some people don't have enough clothes to wear. Please pray for our leaders, and the leaders of the world. Please pray that our Lord will grant them much wisdom to help those that are poor, and those of us that a part of the working poor.
