This year, in partnership with many pro-life groups, the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates officially declares March 25 the first-ever Day of the Unborn Child in the United States! In 1993 – the same year NIFLA was founded – El Salvador became the first country to recognize March 25 as the Day of the Unborn Child. Over the years, the adoption and celebration of the Day of the Unborn Child have gradually grown. It is now officially established in many nations, both by churches and governments. Jackson Supreme Court decision later this year … … it’s fitting we begin to honor the most vulnerable human life on this day. Many Christian churches across the world already observe March 25 as the Annunciation, which according to the Gospel of Luke, is when Mary is given the good news that she would conceive Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
