October 27: Ladies Mishmash, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.: All the teens are invited to attend to help Alexandra make Hanukkah games and posters. Snacks for the students will be provided! Contact Aliza or Rena for more information. ● In Progress: 40 Days for Life: The 40 Days for Life campaign is a national effort to pray for an end to abortion. This year it takes place from September 23 to November 1. During that time, congregations will fast and pray, and also be at a local abortion clinic location for a peaceful vigil from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The clinic is at 6765 Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield. If you are interested in participating please sign up on your own by clicking this link. Please note that if you do sign up, it's very important to show up for the time you committed to. If you have further questions, contact Lea.   ● October 28: Bible Study: Revelation ● October 29: Prayer by phone: You are invited to pray with us Thursday at 8:00 p.m. via phone. Contact Karl for additional information on how to participate.  ● November 13: Equip: The purpose of Equip is to equip disciples. The meetings take place once a month on at 7:00 p.m. If you have questions please speak with Mikael or Lea. ● November 14: Lord’s Supper and Oneg: If you can help with set up, clean up or kitchen support, please sign up on the oneg poster on the small table in back. Let's bring our best contribution of food to these monthly meals. That will honor God, our brothers and sisters, and the Sabbath in which we are delighting. Let’s avoid sugary desserts and focus on healthy foods. Please, no shell fish or pork.  ● November 15: Men's Study: The Measure Of A Man Part 2 by Gene Getz. The study meets once a month on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Dave Erdmann's business in Commerce Township.  For additional information, contact Dave by email or call 248-859-2194. ● November 21: Men’s Fellowship: In June we met for a two day session, but this will be a one afternoon session, from 12:30 to 3:30 in the Fellowship Hall after services. Come for an afternoon of teaching, discussion and fellowship. The cost is $6.00 for lunch if you are registered and paid by the Thursday prior, November 19. After that the cost is $10.00.  Please see Dave Goldstein to sign up and for more details. ● November 26: Thanksgiving Outreach: We are planning to proclaim the Good News at the Thanksgiving Day parade in Detroit. We hope to hand out hundreds of pamphlets, talk to dozens of people and impact many. Pray that we and our Christian and Messianic Jewish brothers and sisters everywhere would be focused on Messiah, keenly aware of Yeshua, close to Him, connected to Him, filled with His Spirit, receiving power from Him, learning from Him, directed by Him. Pray that if any of us have lost it, we would regain our first love for Him; that all of us would be passionate about serving the Lord and carrying on His mission teaching, evangelism and good deeds. ● Teresa asks for prayer for both her aunt and her mother.
