Newton, NJ 07860

Dear Congressman Scott Garrett,

Greetings! I hope that you and the loved ones are in good health. Please find a copy of a Notice of Termination of Corporate Existence, and a Certificate of Fact, from the Virginia State Corporation Commission regarding the corporation Some Choices Are Evil - There is the Way, Inc. which I've written to you about earlier (see letter dated 1/24/12 from your office). Someone has looked into the law (NJ) on my behalf, and states that according to NJ Statute title 14A:12-1 that a corporation must be in good standing for two years or it may be revoked (just to summarize again about the corporation Some Choices Are Evil - There is the Way, Inc.: the corporation, along with two others, were formed in Virginia in 1997 when I'd lived there, I believe, but were always inactive - never did I file corporate returns or annual reports [until around 2004/2005 did I ever file annual reports with the State of NJ] because I believed that it wasn't necessary because no business was conducted - all three corporations were inactive. When I went to withdraw/dissolve the corporations in NJ in 2011, I'd found out about a minimum tax law for even inactive corporations, but the person who has been helping me on my behalf believes that because the corporations were terminated by Virginia back in 1997, that I should not be liable for taxes other than 1997. Also, my attempts to contact the Dept. of Treasury to find out if I owe the federal government any back taxes, penalties, and interest have gone to no avail. The NJ Div. of Taxation does not recognize the Notice of Termination, nor the Certificate of Fact, and I had tried to get a Certificate of Dissolution from Virginia, but to no avail. I've been trying to work out a payment plan with the NJ Div. of Taxation for months, but haven't gotten an agreement with them yet). I've been sending a payment to the NJ Div. of Taxation each month to pay off a original $7,000 plus bill from the State of NJ for the corporation Some Choices Are Evil - There is the Way, Inc. for the tax years of 1997 - 2010.

Please help me to get in touch with the proper people within the federal government to find out if I owe any back taxes, penalties, and interest for any of the three corporations (for any or all the tax years 1997 - 2011), and if needed to help in arranging to make payments with the NJ Div. of Taxation (I've paid the NJ Div. of Taxation, an accountant, and a lawyer thousands of dollars, and I don't have much in way of assets, and my income over the last 16 1/2 - 17 years has been small - I definitely am a working poor person). Also, please let me know if I have to continue to make payments to the State of NJ for back taxes, penalties, and interest for the tax years 1997 - 2010. I will be sending a copy of this letter also to Lauren Musser of the NJ Div. of Taxation. It seems that the process has been moving slowly since I've been trying to resolve this since Oct. of 2011.

Thank you very much for all your help. Hope that you and the loved ones have a joyous and peaceful day. May the good Lord, our Creator Lord, bless you and the loved ones immensely!

Sincerely,

Ken Miller
