Make the polluters pay

Hello! I hope that you and the loved ones are in good health. Good health is such a blessing from the good Lord, our Creator Lord! How is your spirit on this glorious day that the Lord has made? Please remember that we humans are more than flesh and blood. I am writing to you to ask for your help. Please let me know if there is a law on the books that allows the government to fine (daily if need be) a company that pollutes private property and/or the waterways or the air, and that company doesn't make a great enough of an effort to clean up the pollution. BP is liable for damages to those that have been adversely affected by the pollution, and BP is responsible for cleaning up the pollution. If BP doesn't make a great enough of an effort to clean up the pollution, BP should be fined daily (maybe up to a maximum of $250 million). If there is a law already on the books, then please let me know what the maximum daily fine is.
Please let me know if there is a law already on the books that allows the government to fine a company that pollutes private property and/or the waterways or the air. If there isn't such a law on the books, then please help try to get such a law enacted. The government should be allowed to contract and/or hire crews that would help with the clean up of the pollution (the money coming from the fines imposed on the company liable for the clean up).

Greetings on this glorious day that the Lord has made! I hope that you and the loved ones are in good health. Good health is such a blessing from the good Lord, our Creator Lord! How is your spirit on this glorious day? Please remember that we humans are more than flesh and blood! Also, let's not forget about the poor and the working poor! The good Lord, our Creator Lord, hears the cries and the prayers of the poor day in, and day out. He looks out over them always! What should we do to help the poor and the working poor (those in need) - ration health care? God forbid! Should we say that abortion is health care, as some have already done? God forbid! Should we allow the government to pay for abortions? Again, God forbid! Should we try to repeal and/or change all the problems with the new Health Care Law? Should we spend more time with the poor, and the working poor, to find out what they really need, and then help them? Some of the working poor, and poor, cannot go to the doctor, or to a hospital, or to specialists, or to any health facility even with the new Health Care Law (let alone get medicines that might have been recommended by a doctor). The new Health Care Law will probably hurt the working poor more than any law should - and that is a shame! The fact that the working poor would be hurt by this law is enough reason to have the government repeal and/or change all the problems with the new Heath Care Law!
Please pray for our leaders - our Creator Lord cares for them and us! Please pray that our good Lord, our Creator Lord, will grant the leaders much wisdom to help the poor, and the working poor today! Please pray that our good Lord will grant them much wisdom and courage to repeal and/or change all the problems in the new Health Care Law (definitely all the things that will hurt the poor and the working poor)! Some of us non-wealthy individuals could use the help!

Fine the polluters, daily if need be!

Dear Vice President Joseph Biden,
Hello! I hope that you and the loved ones are in good health. Good health is such a blessing from the good Lord! How is your spirit on this glorious day? Please remember that we humans are more than flesh and blood! Please let me know if there is a law currently on the books that would allow the government to fine (each day) a company that pollutes private property, or the waterways and/or the air if that company doesn't put forth a great enough effort to clean up the pollution. The fine money should be used to hire and/or contract out crews that would assist in the clean up. BP should pay those that have been adversely affected by the pollution (with the use of an escrow account), and BP is liable for the clean up of the pollution and should be putting forth a great effort to do so. BP should face the possibility of a fine each day that it does not put forth a great enough effort to clean up the pollution.
Please let me know if there is a law on the books that allows the government to fine a company that pollutes if that company does not put forth a great enough effort to clean up the pollution. Is there a law currently on the books that would allow the government to assess a fine each day to a company that pollutes private property, or the waterways and/or the air if the company does not put forth a great enough effort to help clean up the pollution? I believe BP should be liable for cleaning up the oil and gas, as well as for paying damages to those adversely affected by the pollution (so the need for an escrow account, currently in place). A daily fine (maybe $250 million maximum) would be used by the government to hire and/or contract additional crews to help in the clean up effort. Please let me know if such a law exists, if not, then please try to enact such a law.
